Can I be transparent for a moment like completely see through?

On May 18th, I had planned on opening the pre-orders for Good Grief: The Process Guided Journal. well......

I wasn’t ready.

God revealed to me that I would be using my pain for His purpose. He blessed me with a unique gift, to create all kinds of things and a vision to share it with women of color experiencing grief.

In that He also told me not only will I face my fears, but I’ll be sharing it through this book.

When planning Good Grief my goal was to give you tools to really help you understand and cope with your grief. But after reviewing the journal. It was missing some key aspects to grief and the experiences. So, I couldn’t in my right mind release it yet.

On top of that!! When I was working on the last few edits, I THOUGHT I had left, it caused some triggers in me to rise up. Triggers I hadn’t experienced before. It made me realize that we really need to dig into these triggers, and I need to prepare you for how to handle those triggers. Cause them thangs had me shooketh!! When I tell you I went through every stage and every symptom of grief in ONE day! Bayybeee! It even caused me to get sick in my body. I was laid up in the bed on Mother’s Day. Couldn’t breathe, stomach upset, chest and head throbbing. It was bad. I was on the sick and shut in list.

So instead of launching the journal as planned this month. I have decided to wait. There are more things that need to go into it so when you get this journal you are fully equipped to go through your process and have a clear understanding that it gets real ugly before it gets beautiful.

Stay tuned.

We will be doing some great things this year! Like weekly support calls starting next month, a Calling All Adult Orphans events, And of course the launch of the Good Grief: The Process Guided Journal.
